Bone Fetish

The

Bone Fetish is one of the most dangerous monsters in all of Sanctuary. Blisteringly fast and prone to attacking in swarms, these diminutive Undead can easily shatter

Bone Armor, obliterate an

Energy Shield, trap a character in Block or

Dodge animations, or simply send their victims into perpetual Hit Recovery. Walking is simply not quick enough to disengage from a group of Bone Fetishes, while running will rob an adventurer of the benefit of their armor and shield - leaving them completely vulnerable to attacks made as they disengage.

To make matters worse, a slain

Bone Fetish will explode when their fragile Life pool is depleted, dealing a devastating burst of physical damage to any hapless adventurer nearby. Thus, attempts to defend oneself from these creatures will often be the very cause of one's demise.
