Description
I just noticed, for the first time in my life, that Grand Matron Bow is shaped like a woman. I always kind of assumed the golden hook at the front was a beak, but I just realized it's a hood and you can see how, uhm, anatomically correct the rest of it is from there.
This is akin to finding out the Stamina Shrine icon is a foot with wings when D2R came out.

Can be used to make Runewords:

It's Auriel.
My timezone is CET/UTC+1.
OP
Was thinking the same thing, but the original shape seems similar and I doubt they had an Auriel design back then. Maybe it was just meant to look like an angel and now it specifically fits with Auriel.
Technically, matron is a noun, and matriarchal is an adjective.
OP
That is true. Doesn't really make a difference to the point, though.bigbikefan wrote: 3 weeks agoTechnically, matron is a noun, and matriarchal is an adjective.
ALSO, if we want to really get technical, nouns and adjectives are often used interchangeably to either nominate or qualify. Especially in English, where morphological inflection is limited, this can be hard to see. "Matron bow," even though not presenting the derived adjective version of the nominal root "matron" (which would be "matronal," I guess), is still a nominal phrase composed of a modifier and a core, where "matron" is basically taking the role of an adjective (more accurately, it's an attributive noun, or a genitive that functions as a possessive, depending on what you want to talk about), to mean "of the matron." It's modifying the nominal core of the phrase ("bow"), which is really what's taking the role of a full noun in the phrase. So, even though superficially you could say "this is just noun+noun," functionally "matron" is much closer to an adjective in that specific use case than to a noun.
talking about GMB, found one yesterday, 3sk 12%ED 0 socket, if I Larzuk it gonna get 5 and I need 4, I want to kill myself
OP
Larzuk just doesn't know how to turn it down a notch. That dude is intense.MintBlancmanche wrote: 2 weeks agotalking about GMB, found one yesterday, 3sk 12%ED 0 socket, if I Larzuk it gonna get 5 and I need 4, I want to kill myself![]()
Maybe make a Mist?
Yeah Larzuk is on auto pilot when it comes to hole punching.human_being wrote: 2 weeks agoLarzuk just doesn't know how to turn it down a notch. He waits for u to place your gear on the anvil, and his auto pilot kicks in and starts punching holes in them until he cant anymore…
I could understand why he’s doing what he’s doing. Getting daily requests for free hole punching, he is not going to go out of his way to adjust his hole punching timing just to appease the travelers
Can trade on PC or SWITCH
would need to convert into cold amazon and I don't like that shit, preffer to keep using Windforce with multishot.
Whoa I never noticed this either, however, I definitely knew the stamina shrine icon xD

Mist does work very good for a Strafezon even though it's not as strong as Faith, it has its own merits:MintBlancmanche wrote: 2 weeks agowould need to convert into cold amazon and I don't like that shit, preffer to keep using Windforce with multishot.
1. 100% Pierce saves many skill points and opens up the Belt slot.
2. 40% all resist is huge! This opens up many other gear slots. Resists are a weak spot on any Bowazon.
3. The aura gives additional damage to you and your minions.
4. Good damage, IAS, AR, skills.
This bow misses just 2 things: Knockback and Leech. I see it en par with Windforce. Less damage, more quality of life.
I would give it a try.
And if you don't want it in the end, any act 1 rogue merc will be very happy about it. Mist is BiS for that merc.
I preffer to have act 2 mercenary with might/Insight. instead of just an act 1 with only Concentration and way less damage than an Eth Insight lol.
First, disclaimer: English ain't vernacular to me.human_being wrote: 3 weeks agoThat is true. Doesn't really make a difference to the point, though.

On the other hand, that is a lucid, intelligent, well thought out objection... Overruled!
This is plain wrong, sorry.MintBlancmanche wrote: 2 weeks agoI preffer to have act 2 mercenary with might/Insight. instead of just an act 1 with only Concentration and way less damage than an Eth Insight lol.
A Rogue Scout wielding Mist is the strongest merc build in terms of raw damage, outclassing even the Frenzy Barbarian Merc. Her only weak spot is fighting bosses, due to her lack of high single target damage, her low tankiness and the absence of Crushing Blow. She downright sucks fighting Baal, but she wastes ANYTHING ELSE.
Let's do some math: My Summoner Druids' Companion does around 2.5 k average damage per hit at an 8 fpa attack rate. 100% Pierce is a multiplier to this! Add 1k splash cold damage for every 2nd or 3rd attack and you'll end up easily in 10k or way more DAMAGE PER ATTACK. The more monsters there are, the more damage she does. There's no limit to this scaling but the number of monsters that may appear and can be lined up in a bulk or a row.
Have a look at 5 monsters, a very common situation:
3x 2.5k = 7.5k DPS
7.5k x5 = 37.5k physical DPS
1k (cold splash) x5 = 5k cold DPS
That's 42.5k damage per second! This is conservative math, not calculating that she is ranged and ignoring the cold splash effect itself, even hitting enemies which are not in direct line of fire.
Hannah alone does 50% of all the dirty work. She's a mass-killing monster in P1.
Those damage numbers are HERO TERRITORY! This is why she is my HEROINE
