Question - Do trade description have a length limit?

Do trade description have a length limit?

I add an image to one of my old trades (to use the new feature of image scan ), and the scan created a incomplete text
The last affix should be "76 mana", but the scanner wrote just "76"
When I completed the text and tried to save I received an error
So I removed part of the scanned text (the rare ring name - as it is irrelevant), reducing the total length of the description and... the change was saved

My guess is that that description has a length limit and that the image scanner itself knows about the description length and so it did not include all the image text as it would exceed the max length

The scanner isn't perfect.

Can you take a screenshot please? It may be that the quotebox was cut-off due to it exceeding 10 lines, but you should also have seen an 'expand quote' button.

This was the image I thought that would make more sense for the scanner to add some wrong text (like "76 anna") instead of add nothing (just "76" as it did), that's why I came with the ideia that the scanner (or the code) removed the last word ("Mana") to not exceed the max description length (as I couldn't save the change after added " Mana" by myself until I reduced the total length of the description)

Ah, yeah no worries - so this bug is just the OCR scanner not working perfectly. Sometimes you need to add missing bits that it doesn't pick up. It doesn't seem to like the word 'mana'.

No - can you screenshot what you mean please? I don't know what description you are referring to, or what the error says.
