Hi
As far as I know, on D2R we have the option "quick cast" that make all "skill key" work as a "skill hot key" (press the key in practice will cast the skill - in reality it switches the mouse skill, casts the skill and then switches back the mouse skill to the previous one)
Without the "quick cast", the "skill key" behaves as a "switch mouse skill key" (press the key will just change the skill assigned to the mouse button)
Is there a way to have, at the same time, some "skill key" working as "skill hot key" and some working as "switch mouse skill key"?
The main reason would be easily change Paladin's aura and change the skills Shadow Warriorcould use, while still keeping the "hot key skill" feature for most skills

Not natively I believe, due to the quick cast option being a global all-or-nothing.
You could get what you want by leaving quick cast turned off and instead macroing a quick cast for the skills you want it for though, assuming you have a macro-capable keyboard, mouse, whatever else you want to use for it that lets you do that.
Switch-Click-SwitchBack. Basically an external, local version of the same method Blizz used to make it work. Difference being that from your end, that method makes sense whereas Blizz was just being lazy and bad in their implementation. Additionally, if you do that, you could actually make it work better than the Blizz version as you're also circumventing their not-switching-back bug.
Though that does expose you to some risk as Blizz is known to have banned people for simple macros. Not sure how strict they still are on that front.
I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play bothLadder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play bothSoftcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.
