Question: "Fires Magic Arrows" + Life Leech (Act I Merc)

I'm considering experimenting with an Act I Mercenary wielding

Witchwild String for the

Amplify Damage proc. My question is, if I drop an

Amn rune in it, will the life leech still work despite the "Fires Magic

Arrows" attribute?

On a somewhat related note, if I give her a Wisdom

Helm, will the 33%

Pierce affect the "Magic

Arrows" being fired?

Magic Arrow has a physical damage component. This damage is: 1 point per slvl (=20) added to the normal damage and the result (after +%damage, deadly strike etc.) is reduced to 57% at slvl 20. The rogue gains leech on this. The remaining 43% are converted to magic damage.

Magic Arrow is only fired at using the standard attack. When your rogue is using her bow skills,

Magic Arrow will not occur.

Pierce should work at full effect on any ranged attack.
