Am I correct that the average is better than min damage?


And there are others bigger damage weapon with slower speed which I might compensate with items.

Is there a calculator somewhere where I can check how much ias I would need to get max frames? Or table?

When comparing weapons, we generally look at average DPS (damage per second), which consider the weapon/skill speed and weapon average damage.
(if weapons have the same speed - your case, you can look just the average damage )

Giant Thresher avg dmg is a little higher

Giant Thresher is 77 -> (40+114) / 2

Thresher is 76.5 -> (12+141) / 2

But remember that

Giant Thresher has more range (+4 x +1) which can make difference for some builds/playstyle.
On the other hand

Thresher requirements are lower (so more points to Vitality if self use and Merc can use it on lower levels)
