So far these have all been repeat events dating back to 2022 except for the first which was amended up in 2023.
I have a hunch on why we didn't see Black Friday Gambling to kick things off.
Looking back at 2022 & 2023, we saw 3x Friday's throughout the event. Each of which of course being Gambling.
This is the first year they started off on a Friday, and had they made it Black Friday Gambling, that would have pushed the potential to 4x this cycle.
We still have 3x Friday's remaining, as the final day this year is a Friday. This is likely why they ignored the first Friday as they seem to potentially only want to host this event no more than 3x in the cycle.
Blizzard has long since forsaken the path of logic and common sense. It is barren of thought or care of its creations. We have meetings every Wednesday at 7pm for those who are still in denial.
I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

+ 75% to all resistances (even physical and Magic)
My L1 mule (with no equipment) is with 75% to all resists and character data shows 75% physical damage reduced and 75% magic damage reduced.
(I thought max physical resistance was 50% )
With Enigma, game shows 83% physical damage reduced

You could pull your Uber Smiter out of mothballs, reduce his lightning resistance, and then run him against Uber Mephisto a few times. It will probably take a number of keys but it would make an entertaining video.

If I had a softcore smiter I would do this....
Just a thought, but wouldn't a couple of disposable build slots improve empirical data collection? You could have another member sit in town to hold your game while you engage in a little crash dummy testing with the Ubers. All you would need is a couple of players to rush your test builds in advance.

Forgive me if you already know this, but part of this event is that you can sell some items for more than they cost to buy from the vendor when aided by Gheed's Fortune and Edge. By chain selling and rebuying said items, you can infinitely duplicate Gold for the duration of the event. So, as long as you have enough Gold right now to get a few amulets, you have enough Gold for the event!
