Description

hey guys,

for my first account items look like this: for my second account it looks like this: as you see, for the first the background of the font is Black, for the second it is transparent
do you know if this is a setting?
i prefer the Black background but wasn't able to find out how to set it.

is it possible that some of the accounts are using some mod, and you don't remember? 🤔
Or the second account is using classic graphic (non-Resurrected)? 🤔

no and no. never installed any mod etc.
Only difference is:
one is an older laptop, win10, other is a new PC, win11.

Botch machines use the same in-game settings, I have compared them all

This is strange. Looks like either an accessibility setting or a bug to me.
Having some amount of transparency is normal. But then your second image looks strange too ^^ But I guess it's a photo of a screen?
Try updating your graphics driver on your Win 10 machine.

I'm sure it's the screen's colored cells that appears on the second photo.
The Black background is indeed grey-ish than in the first one.

I just solved this for myself. After updating my Nvidia drivers, my colors got completely screwed up, and the Black background on item descriptions became too transparent to allow for the item descriptions legible. I was playing with sliders for hours-- then I looked at the Windows Display settings (under system settings) and turned HDR to "off". That fixed everything immediately.

Hope this helps.
