Baranar's Star, like Famine and
Gimmershred, gives a bonus of most elemental damage types, although it deals less damage. It has a decent damage bonus, great IAS, and great attack rating. Overall, it is a good weapon for getting through Hell as it can damage Physical Immune monsters even if it isn't best in slot.

The Chill duration associated with this weapon's Cold Damage component is a random value from 0 to 7 seconds, and that duration will remain constant for any given copy of the weapon. Since Chill duration is not displayed on the item card, the duration must be determined experimentally.
