A question about runeword bases

Description

Looking to make a few runewords and curious what some good bases are.

Infinity for Nova sorc (self use)

Flickering Flame for merc on Fissure druid

COH/FORT for Java zon (thinking of switching instead of Enigma but not sure which)

Flickering Flame for a fire sorc.

Can be used to make Runewords:

Since you are self-wielding Infinity and CoH/Fortitude, I'd suggest you look at the sprites for the available bases.

I've become partial to Trident and Archon Plate, but you might hate the look.

My sorc will probably use Vmagi instead for the FCR. Trying to hit the 105% BP. I'm more in it for the stats efficiency than looks honestly. COH/Fort is for my Javazon.

Flickering Flame for a sorc is just whatever base you like the look of without wasting stat points.

I made a Flickering Flame for the mercenary of my Fissure Druid in a Demonhead. Visuals do not matter on mercs, so this way he gets a bit more defense compared to many other options.
I have a base for sale if you need one, check my profile.

If you want to max out on defense, then Bone Visage is a slightly better option. On mercs you can go for ethereal of course.

Self-wield Infinity is pure aesthetics most of the time. I asked a question on that subject some times ago forums/infinity-in-scythe-ethereal-or-not-t1192430.html

I got my infi in an Eth Scythe because it looks cool

COH/Forti should be superior Archon Plate because of the Strength req/Def ratio

Flickering Flame on Sorc: i would prefer Superior Bone Visage because you already should have high Str when you use Spirit, JMOD or Phoenix Monarch
