Hi guys,
I just found 3 sunder charms, but I don't really understand the mechanics behind it. I found 2 Cold Ruptures - one with 73%, one with 80%. Which one is better vs. cold immu mobs? Thank you.

The sunder will remove the immunity on mobs. The downside is that you will also suffer. Your cold resistance in this case will take a hit. So the -73 is better to use, as it deducts -73 from your current cold resistance. The other one will do -80.
I will be mostly offline for the next 2 months. I won't keep any trades active during this period. I will hold another giveaway on my return.

OP
Ah alright. Understood. Thank you.
So what are their resistances after applying sunder charms? 99%, 98%?
95%. In addition, the effectiveness of Conviction, Lower Resist and other sources of lowering resistances will be 1/5 effective even after a Sundering Charm’s applied effects.Kriss_De_Valnor_ wrote: 1 year ago So what are their resistances after applying sunder charms? 99%, 98%?

So my Cold Mastery is level 35 (-190%) but it applies only 1/5 plus a sunder charm will give me -43% to cold resistance. Am I correct?SnowSnow wrote: 1 year ago95%. The immune will be set at 95, then it will lose another (190/5), so he will still have 57 resistance and you will suffer the penalty written on your sunder charm.Kriss_De_Valnor_ wrote: 1 year agoSo my Cold Mastery is level 35 (-190%) but it applies only 1/5 plus a sunder charm will give me -43% to cold resistance. Also;
-X% to enemy resistance from gear (equipment) work at full effect vs sundered enemies.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.

So if my Act 2 merc holds Infinity with Level 12 Conviction it will lower resistances even more? I mean a combination of Cold Mastery and Conviction?SnowSnow wrote: 1 year ago95%. that's confirmed?ShadowHeart wrote: 1 year ago -X% to enemy resistance from gear (equipment) work at full effect vs sundered enemies.
so i'd rather be using wisendraw on my cold sorceress, than a Spirit..
goodluck, and may the RNG god be with you.
Yes, -X% to enemy resistance on equipment works at full effect vs sundered enemies. That part was never "nerfed".
Yes. But keep in mind that if the enemy was originally cold immune and sundered with a Cold Rupture charm, then both Cold Mastery and Conviction work at 1/5 effect, so the Infinity only gives you an additional -17% to the monster's cold resistance on top of what your Cold Mastery does. If the enemy wasn't immune to begin with, Cold Mastery alone should be enough to bring the monsters down to -100 (the lowest their resistances can go) even without Infinity.Kriss_De_Valnor_ wrote: 1 year ago So if my Act 2 merc holds Infinity with Level 12

Cold Mastery gives me -39% and Infinity would -17% so in total -56%. Not bad, not bad at all! Throw a perfect Cold Death into Shako and we will go -61%!ShadowHeart wrote: 1 year agoYes, -X% to enemy resistance on equipment works at full effect vs sundered enemies. That part was never "nerfed".
