any full set you are playing?

We all know that the sets in the game are not bis. Neither full IK, nor

Tal or Trang are top tier gear.
Since d2 is a game and therefore supposed to be fun, I was wondering which full set chars people play, because they are simply fun or at least very stilish?

Actively none but some that stand out as actually quite potent (albeit typically nowhere near otherwise BiS gear) include a

Tal's fire sorc, a nat's WW sin and a gris smiter.

I haven't made one this ladder but a Corpse exploding Summons Necro with Full Trangs was always fun for me.

But competition is tough: I made my first Chains of Honor!

I've got a full Death set (with a lower req jewel in sword) that goes to any new melee character. I play a lot offline and it definitely speeds up early leveling.

I have a barb wearing Ik set, a sorc with tals set, got everything for a trangs set, and wore mavina’s set on my frost maiden for a bit, all just basically for the novelty of it. Once I get bis I switch back to uniques/rares/rune words

Alders set is bad imao, but I don’t play Druid very often

I'm using M'avina set on a frostmaiden,

Griswold set on a zealot, leveling a sorc for trying

Tal's set, and a necro for Trang set.
M'avina set is surprisingly good, and

Griswold's not too bad too, of course nowhere near bis gear but fun playing.

Vidala on my young ama but until she grows up a bit, ofc. Never can find a time to shoot an arrow - eitha sittin my azz at trades, or horkin some trav, or sweepin a tz with my necro...

I LOVE sets.

My main necro is the only exception (but he has Trangs in Stash for when I want to play a

Vampire).

My second, sin is full Nat. Even recently

Ber-ed Nat claw and she did not disappoint me in killing her first DClone last week. With Verdungo's, and even if I decide to use BoS instead of

Fade she just does not take damage and leeches hard.

My third is even weirder (still in build, but gear is ready): full Disciple set hybrid Bow/Javazon. Disciple has one cool features : it leaves hands empty so can be worn by many. And she used to wear full Iratha's through Normal.

And as she has a Barb merc (have one of each that way, Necro has A2, Sin A1 MPD) he wears Sazabi !

As for mules, my necro mule has Infernal Tools, Barb has Sigon's, Pally has Isenhart + Cleglaw on switch, Ama has Arctic, Barb 2 has Berserker, Druid has Hsarus.

I think that's all. Did I mention I loved sets ?

Ist'd Ali baba tals is a great mf set

Tal is best suited for Cold.

Phoenix+Flickering Flame makes it inferior for Fire
117FCR req+griffon makes it inferior for Light

For Cold however, 10K or 15K dam doesn't really matter, and

Tal achives high mf+life for cheap. It's also rather easy to compensate Cold sunder, since Spirit has cold res, and Trang gloves also gives 30 Cold res.

Just for the sake of it. Pretty fun builds, there is effort stil. Solo is stil quite powerful.

i love the class sets and i think each one can hold its own in hell games with the right build.
