I think indeed it would have been. Still may hold a bit of value as it can be twice socketed if Larzuked and if the Larzuk-er wins the 50/50 roll (1 or 2 socks)

Would it be worth anything, even with two sockets? I can’t think of a situation where a paladin would use this 2 socketed over an alternative. Unless you plan to use it

Actually, as basically any hell TZ GC can be now a level 85+ iLvl, they basically hold pretty much no value now (and same for Baal's), as you usually need to farm less than an hour to get one.
