Description

Phase Blades are popular bases for runewords, such as Grief, Passion and Call To Arms.

They have the fastest base weapon speed of all melee weapons — a trait shared with
Greater Talons and
Runic Talons.

Phase Blades are the only mêlée weapons which has no durability - the same property which missile weapons have. It makes them perfect bases for rune words with annoying expensive repair.

And just like missile weapons, Phase Blades cannot be ethereal, at least not natively. It is possible to obtain such by upgrading ethereal rare and unique Dimensional Blades though.

Max sockets iLvl 1-25: 3

Max sockets iLvl 41+: 6
