When you say 8 EST do you mean in a few minutes? This gets confusing because of DST.

EST is Eastern Time zone, UTC-5.
The term of DST you use, is that Daylight Saving Time?

Yes, I missed a walk a week or two ago because it happened an hour earlier than I expected. Someone listed the time as EST, but then it happened an hour before that time. The only conclusion I could reach was a daylight savings time issue. We had just turned our clocks back an hour. Technically DST is over now, but just want to make sure I’m not going to miss another one. So this next walk is in about 50 minutes?

The schedule made by Shadow covered a few time zone normally, in which it also included daylight saving time where it applied, however if that doesn't cover yours, then you have to do some brain killing time zone

General speaking, you can google search the EST, PST etc., or directly UTC time, it will return your local time for most of search.

or just make an account on Discord and look at the announcements yourself b/c it automatically gives you the time in your time zone.
