Not really, if your kill speed is fast enough that you can squeeze in 2 runs while the horking barbarian does 1, you'll be on the better end of the deal as his hork can "miss", while your kills can't.
Found my first Ber rune in the River of Flame on my way to the Chaos santuary. Wasn't even from a ghost or elite, just a random little monster (the one that has babies) sitting off in a corner alone.
Been trying to get a War Traveler since start of ladder. Andy and Mephisto are not so generous this time.
But Jamella is generous enough today. Not the best roll, but I will take it.

Whatever the formula, all I know is I don't get ANYTHING on my paladin, running Trav, CS or WSK all day long. Good 400-500 hours on him easy (lvl 94), playing him a ton lately, and highest I've seen on him was a Vex months ago. And he's MUCH stronger than my barb. Kills stuff 3-4x faster. But I only seem to get good HRs using my hork barb (lvl 96) for whatever reason. Maybe my pally is cursed. Still a blast to play though, either way.
Just got Sur #9 tonight (6th Sur in last month), and as you can guess, it was horked. Probably my 10th Trav run so far today, after getting home from work.
When it dropped, I threw my hands up in the air and yelled "WHAT!?"
No other types of HRs lately. Just the 6 Surs in a row, in less than a month. RNG really messing with me!! But I'll take it

So 2 perfect HOTOs out of 3 rolls, so I was happy about that. Then I rolled my first Grief and this is how it turned out, 390 dmg and 35 IAS. Pretty solid I think for my first and only Grief roll. So I guess the RNG gods have blessed me thus far when it comes to runeword rolls.

Congrats mate, good rolls. My CTA rolls (so far 4) never reached more than 3 BO and actually the last one 2 1 1. :/ My Fortitude rolls are always 1x life and so on. But only once I rolled a Grief 40/399 and that made it all. So, RNG is and will always be RNG.
