Well, that's 4 months to find a 3/3/3/3 instead.
I actually vendored a near perfect White base on accident because ladder day 1 still had me looking for quick gold and in the habit of just selling everything, ~~

Oof that sucks.
I'm taking ladder very casually and have extremly budget gear. That did help me refine some ideas for the budget build in my guide though.
Was playing as Fire Druid up until Act 4 Hell and then had to respec into Summon again because I could not handle all those fire immunes.
However today was a very good day. First I got word of the DiaClone walk that happened so I got my Anni already and then I stumbled onto that Druid pelt on Traderie

Aye, just in it for the clones and possible subsequent trading.

looks like you can't get Raven and Summon Spirit Wolf with 3 summon skill. you need ilvl 62 for 3 summon skill. and you can only get lvl 18+ skills from the staffmod. so grizzly, dire wolf, hotw.
That is correct.Udyret wrote: 2 years agolooks like you can't get Raven and Summon Spirit Wolf with 3 summon skill. you need ilvl 62 for 3 summon skill. and you can only get lvl 18+ skills from the staffmod. so grizzly, dire wolf, hotw.

Ravenlore would also be nice. but shame it's 3 elemental skill. need petition to change it to 3 summon skills.
Actually the +3 Summon skills isn't the only reason you can'T get Raven and Spirit Wolves together with Grizzly.
It's the staffmod tiers itself that limits them.
Grizzly is a T6 skills so that limits the range to T3-T6 staffmods ruling out both Raven and Spirit Wolves.
Ravenlore is sadly not even better than a Jalal's Mane.

still seems like a solid option. how many % more damage did you gain with Jalal's Mane? shame you need hard points for the synergy to Raven.tmGrunty wrote: 2 years ago Actually the +3 Summon skills isn't the only reason you can'T get Raven and Spirit Wolves together with Grizzly.

Jalal's Mane is about 10% better IF you use a Beast (or Faith) as weapon.
If you don't have a Fanaticism aura then the two pelts are actually roughly equal when it comes to damage with Ravenlore being slightly ahead.
Ravenlore massivly buffs the damage of the Raven but it does absolutely nothing for your Wolves, Grizzly and merc.
Jalal's Mane moderately buffs the damage of all your summons and the merc which adds up to roughly the same amount as the increased damage to Raven from Ravenlore. But the Fanaticism aura takes it over the top.
And besides that Jalal's Mane has way more useful additional stats on it (more res, strenght, FHR). And it's also cheaper to trade for.

On a different note ...
My maxroll link to my builds for the guide broke earlier and I had to re-do everything and adjust my guides.
Such a damn shame because it was the top entry when searching for popular Druid builds on that site and now it's just a dead link
Also just finished reformating the guide trying to include all autolinks to items, etc. to make it easier to understand and obviously include the new correct links to maxroll.

what would be the most optimal next for max Poison Creeper / synergy with max grizzly. i'm leveling one with max Poison Creeper first. thinking about going Heart of Wolverine since it gives lots of attack rating and damage for the grizzly. then maybe put the rest into one of the other summons.
I think the Poison Creeper will fall off hard in NM or at least Hell. Would not recommend gonig that route.
But if you want to I think your best next max would be Dire Wolves.
They don't boost the damage of your Grizzly but they deal more damage themselves than any other skill would provide as boost for the Grizzly.
Alternativly if you really want the Poison Creeper to deal the damage you probably have to max the Rabies in the Shapeshifting Tree.

yea. i'm going with max creeper synergy first. i'm just having fun ssf slow walking hardcore. i also have a Raven summoner. and from what i can tell, the Poison Creeper is pretty decent for leveling. slower then Raven on bosses. but safe. and pretty quick to melt away packs of normal monsters.tmGrunty wrote: 2 years ago I think the Poison Creeper will fall off hard in NM or at least Hell. It's always been great for leveling on normal difficulty.
After that not so much.
But hey as long as you are enjoying it.
I'd go Dire Wolves next. Adds more damage than anything else and gives more HP for all the summons as blockers.

feels good enough. i was thinking about going dire wolves too. lots of physical damage. and use the grizzly to keep monsters on top of roots while the poison kill them off. i guess i could just switch to another build later if the summons can't hack it. i'm also trying to updated the Poison Creeper page a bit as i go. maybe you got anything good to add? do you know if the creeper really does work with Lower Resist or not? haven't had the chance to test it yet.tmGrunty wrote: 2 years ago It's always been great for leveling on normal difficulty.

I'm sorry I can't help you there.
I never dug that deep into Poison Creeper and the theory of it.
I do see no reason though why it would not work with Lower Resist.
Lower Resist reduces the poison resist of the affected target and therefore every source that deals poison damage to that monster should deal more damage.

So how is everyone's ladder season going?
I have to admit I "cheated" on my Summoner and just finish my Fire Druid build for the season.
