Had been stressing being online while at work on the EU server thinking 3/6 would get stuff going.
When NA server(s) hit 4/6 I just kept my character in game, but got distill.

Io to monitor the progress page every minute.

Audio to 0, alt-tab to what you are doing (if not playing) and wait for the status update(s) to give a sound/email/popup notification if something changes.
Some false updates throughout the day but a nice way to have a game online or starting one if the progress is at 4/6 (or 3, even 2 if people are gathering and selling fast).

There is the option to exclude/include elements, so I just exclude the "Last report" and "Reported by" td elements to not be spammed by updates and just checking the first row (should be the highest progress with default sorting).

I'm getting endless client crashes. It's difficult at best to even play the game, let alone let it sit over night. Guess I need to try a reinstall or something

No.
Servers are still down for maintenance. Some people are just being asshats.

Different from seeing bugged in-game status, those fake reports while the servers were down are actual trolling.

With their IDs showing, looks like the trolls don't mind being identified.

Americas ladder is moving up and will spawn in about 20 minutes, give or take. Get your games up now!

(This is a coordinated run btw, hence the known rough timeframe)
