Just got lucky last night on a

Chaos Sanctuary session. First, Diablo dropped a unique amulet, so -- naturally -- I'm thinking "great, there's my 36th Rising Sun ammy," but it turned out to be Mara's and a 29 all res one no less. Next run, a regular Doom Knight mob dropped a

Griffon's Eye. It rolled a very low - lightning res at just -16, but the lightning damage was a perfect 15.

I traded the 29 Mara's for an

Ohm immediately because I already have a 24 one and I don't buy for a second that those extra 5 points make even a negligible perceivable difference in survivability. I always trade my high rolls and keep the low ones that a lot of other players consider trash. I'm trading the Griffon's because the lightning sorc is too expensive for me to start going down that rabbit hole, but I think those 2 runs basically make up for half of my total Wealth over my entire d2r career. It's both cool and infuriating that it could work like that haha.

Yeah for real... I can't even see a

Shako going for that much at the start of ladder. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but based on the market over the last 4 or 5 months. . . someone overpaid like crazy lol.
