Yes, magic items have a chance to receive either 1 or 2 sockets from Larzuk.
As for trade value, I can't really say, but I doubt they're worth much.

Still wouldnt be worth it, Ive seen jmods with 4os sell for ridiculous amounts. Can buy one with 3os for less than a 4os Eth Thresher
