What is your routine for doing solo mf runs? What bosses in which order?

I want to start doing runs by myself. What do you recommend doing in which order? I am a blizz sorc.

If you can spec in hybrid lightning you can shenk/eldritch/farm countess/pits.

What are pits?

As a blizz sorc, I farm bosses (andy, meph, diablo,

Baal) and then I also do trav and

Ancient Tunnels.

She can do

Key farming as well, though a hammerdin with Enigma is a lot faster.

The best answer is farm what you enjoy farming. The game gets monotonous once you have the ability to farm pretty much anything so change it up depending on how you feel at the time. I run a summon necro for pits/cows, a hammerdin for keys and Chaos, a blizz sorc for tunnels/andy/meph/diablo/

Baal, and a javzon for eldritch/shenk/pindle. The characters can handle other areas too, but these are the areas that they do best at with my builds. As long as you are farming a boss with a decent drop table or a lvl 85 area, you're good. Beyond that its all personal preference.

Pits is (are?) The Pits in A1

Tamoe Highland. Take

Outer Cloister Wp, and go back through the monastery. Follow the road. It will fork. One fork takes you to

Black Marsh, the other right to the Pit. Level 85 area. It's nice.

The only ones you can't kill with cold are the wave 2 skeletons which are fairly weak by themselves. So either have your merc take those out or have an off-spec skill (i.e. not cold) to handle them.

Baal, Pindle and other places If I feel like to do them. Merc does deal with Cold Immunes that I weak down with

Static Field if necessary.

I have blizz sorc mainly for

Key runs. Cold immune Nila is annoying, but thats why I have Vikhyat with

Eth

Cryptic Axe RW Insight, Treachery (lazy to swap Fortitude from my other melee hero) and he can clear everything (

Teleport micro needed).

But basicly I can clear entire game p1 easily. Even did few p6

Baal run as only source of dmg (was like slow walk rather then run ).

As someone mentioned hammerdin with Enigma. Yeah its better. But at what cost

My sorc gear is full tall rasha with 35% Spirit to get 105% FCR and +mana rings (not sure if I need 650mana).

Depends on the character;

My light sorc runs the 3 keys, Andy, Meph, Pindle and Shenk.
My cold sorc runs 2 keys (don't want to waste the time on

Nihlathak), Andy, Meph and cows.
My other characters who can't

Teleport (no Enigma yet) pretty much just run Diablo, and those who can handle gloams do

Baal as well. Plus cows sometimes on my trapsin and necro.

I kinda want to add Trav to my runs, but most of my chars can't do it easily (my casters struggle with the immunes, and my melee struggle with the damage..)

My

Frenzy barb can farm anything, but there are places where Javazon farms faster for example Cows,

Baal, Chaos.

Assuming you are a pure cold sorc,

Good with low gear

• Mausoleum (monster density is a bit low)

• The Countess (need a mercenary with a decent weapon)

• Mephisto

• Pindleskin

Good with mid-high gear

• Secret Cow Level
