Yes I'm playing. The extra risk is giving a lot of fun for me, also you need to change the way of thinking into playing the game.
The biggest issue is trading, though. There is so much less offers and it's sometimes difficult to find the right item. E.g. I'm struggling to find Immortal King's Soul Cage for a few days.
Currently at 66 IK Barbarian.
If you've just started I can give you some leveling items. What is your class?
