This is a HARDCORE trade. PC only.
These nests can spawn in packs like this in D2R occasionally, yes. But never seen such in D2Lod as well tho. I'd say - if these packs give proper xp and loot, then why not? 
If only devs could also add gettin exp and loot for "berserker" toads found in a5 - that would be even better.

seen them several times in old d2 lod. probably miss them many times when you rush past act 1.
Those are the one things I just dont even bother with on my poison necro.

I remember seeing one of those in Legacy LoD! Had me rolling when I first saw it. So many stupid bats!
I especially like the fire enchanted and cursed traits, like they can even hit something. I don't remember the bats inheriting the traits on spawn.

Seen them in both Legacy and D2R. But they're not very common.
