Can be used to make Runewords:
I just had my second 3socket Monarch drop, and it is heartbreakingly close to being something i can use/sell. before i vendor it (or leave it on the Ground in future runs) is it worth anything at all?

Monarch is only used for the 4 sockets, as its the lowest str shield with 4 sockets that any class can use.
In terms of 3 sockets, many other shields with lower strength values are preferred.
