I need some schooling in this area.

If I use a jewel that adds "+15 to Max Damage" Is that +15 added before the other +% Damage modifiers or after...

For instance, an item adds +300% damage. Will the Jewel give me +45 damage or only +15 ?

It depends what item gives +300% (do you talk about Fortitude?). If it is the weapon, then the +15 max Damage is added after it. If it is any other item like like shield, armor, charms then the max damage is added before the percentage.
