Having farmed my usual route with Countess, Cows, Pit, Summoner, Travincal, Mephisto, Chaos, Pindleskin, Frigid Highlands, Nihlataak, Baal over and over again with somewhere around 300 MF and without ever dropping something really great (an Arachnid Mesh which I'm now wearing was the best) I decided to stop worrying about MF for the time being and switch to cows instead. I mean, where's the fun in trying to find the best gear for each slot and then not being able to wear it because you're always using the MF gear anyways?, I thought to myself.
So I undressed all my MF gear (except the Harlequin's Crest which is still the best thing to use for me) and headed to my first cows run in my new clothes.
And what did I find? Well, despite me getting rid of my MF clothes with the goal of finding great bases, it wasn't a great base -- it was a 30/31/38 Death's Fathom. After checking its price and seeing that this is waaay more expensive than my previous best find (Gul), I was very excited.
All my trades are 3 day auctions: Starting from El, you can bid every rune and maybe get items extremely cheap! Have a look.
I deceded to make Nila runs. Because Mephisto all the time is a little bit boring.
And than Nila give me a Ber Rune. I dont know why Anya dont like Nila. I like him ^^
Nice to see that there are still good mannered people in the game.
Chaos is probably the best place to run, it balances HR drops with unique drops.
Yeah, there's still some scum out there, but overall, seems like a smaller population than back in the day, and the people here are just happy to be here and happy to have people to play with, when they do.
And yeah, Chaos Sanctuary seems like the place to be. Between the not super threatening enemies (no little fetishes exploding your shins), the bunches of ghosts, and generally easy layout, it's pretty nice.
at the moment im in a project of doing 200 TraviMephDia runs and got this on my first run

Last two Days netted a Ber (!) in a public cows game, a Lo from the chest behind Mephisto, and like 3 games later a Vex from the Trav on Durance 3. Also found an Eth 185 ED 9 LL Titan's Revenge, so I'm assuming that I'll be going on a big drought here lol.
