I've been pretty lucky so far.
Found a Ber in the chest behind Meph super early, like a week and a half after purchase. My sorc was still rocking some pretty budget gear still.

But I found a second Ber yesterday in Trav.
First run in dropped, almost stopped playing lol.

I doubt he was really keeping track of the number. Tasteful exaggeration, to be sure.

The truth is, you can't really estimate how long it'll take to get a high rune. The chance of a Jah or Ber dropping off any individual monster is so remote that the only reasonable strategy is to maximize the number of high level monsters you kill in any given play session.

I started farming cows with a poison necro a week ago and found 3 Jah runes in 6 days after finding 0 high runes since the start of the game on my blizzard sorc. RNGesus giveth and he taketh away.

I dodn't know how this is possible, but i was running cows for about 5 hours yesterday. Wasn't counting runs, but dropped two Lo and one Sur. i think i cried a little when that second Lo dropped.

Congratulations to all. As for me:

Ber dropped from a random mob behind eldritch.
Sur dropped from a lovely cow
Lo from pindle minions (a few times)
Then other valuables often drops in Lower Kurast.
Sadly nothing dropped from Travincal yet (and i did a looooot of runs....)

Hi, congratulations.

I never post here but since so many of yalI shared your story, I too have been spending 4+ hours a day doing runs like Baal and Chaos. Just yesterday i got 3x Amn and 5 Ort runes and a bunch of useless uniques. Well damn!

Try changing farm area, when I get a high rune drop Pul or better, I consider an area depleted and move on just to have some variety. Basicly my strategy last 2 weeks was just doing mf in Pits and Mausoleum, then through the weekend I did some rune wonder runs in Chaos Sanctuary / Travi / Mefisto Council members / Arcane Sanctuary. In 2 days I got 1x Gul in Chaos 1x Pul in travi 1x Mal in mefisto chest and 1x Vex in Arcane Sanc chest. Then this week I'm just doing Pits and Mausoleum mf and I got a god damn Jah from the Pit on Tuesday. It was all Players 1

First ever high ( Lo) rune found tonight from random monster in Act2 tombs.
Almost froze at the view until I finally realized and grabbed it.

Actually I was about to quit out of the game, but decided then differently to kill Duriel for quest.
So lucky about that

Now I gotta see what I will use it for

My First HR was Jah in Arcane THEN in same game found Ohm in Highlands on the way to pits

since then ive found EVERY HR expect Cham & Zod

The 3 Ber ive found were ALL in Pits
