Im on my 9th or 10th one. Its not that fun until 30's imo. After that its not so bad! I make it harder on myself cause I dont spec poison I just go straight for my build from the start and I can tell its harder to start. Once Ive gotten passed level like 60 I havnt really died. Didn't have to respec and landed stat points perf for tstroke at 80. waking up, scratching the cahonies, reading the forums, fixing to get on and play some before i pack more and move out of this house.
Started a Barb first. Went with the same type of spec i did back in the 1.09 days. Took quite some effort before i was able to comfortably do stuff alone in hell. Made a Death CS from self looted runes which turned out poo cause of the slow wep speed and lack of ias in that RW (Shoulda been BotD)
Now working on a fire mf sorc to roll up with a cold sorc mate for efficient steamrolling of everything.
So eventho ive had 0 mf basically so far i've found Vex and Sur in cow, Lo in Tristram and Shako in a Baal NM run.

I'm finally near beating the hell, passed the mountain trial and now all that is left is to clear my way to Baal, might finish it later today.
Magic Find does not apply to runes, so you would have gotten the same runes even if you were running magic find gear. You've gotten way better luck with runes than I have so far, I'm probably a solid 50-80 hours in already and the best rune I've seen so far has been a Mal, lol.
