Is it worth something or crap because of missing all res?

I would like to know as well. I am building my first Pally and find the shield variety very confusing.

The Pally is very popular and versatile. Hopefully someone can answer.

Nobody uses a shield like this, because the resists are much better.
If your ED is on anything besides your weapon it's calculated additively to your skills instead of multiplicatively.
800% ED with fana+

Zeal is easily achievable, that means that this adds +60% to that, which is a mere 6% dmg increase (9600 vs. 9000 dmg if your base dmg is 1000), and we didn't even add Fortitude (with Fort it's 5%).
45+ all resist is much better, since you can focus your charms and other equipments on other bonuses.
