Description
The Bone Fetish is one of the most dangerous monsters in all of Sanctuary. Blisteringly fast and prone to attacking in swarms, these diminutive Undead can easily shatter Bone Armor, obliterate an Energy Shield, trap a character in Block or Dodge animations, or simply send their victims into perpetual Hit Recovery. Walking is simply not quick enough to disengage from a group of Bone Fetishes, while running will rob an adventurer of the benefit of their armor and shield - leaving them completely vulnerable to attacks made as they disengage.
To make matters worse, a slain Bone Fetish will explode when their fragile Life pool is depleted, dealing a devastating burst of physical damage to any hapless adventurer nearby. Thus, attempts to defend oneself from these creatures will often be the very cause of one's demise.

The exploding damage is based upon the TOTAL life, which scales with difficulty settings and player settings (see Hit points on the database).
Other monster auras, such as Amplify Damage can increase the damage the player receives from the explosion, making the encounter very dangerous for melee builds.
Bone Fetish monsters are also particularly dangerous when performing Hell Mephisto Runs with a teleporting character, if the Mercenary is capable of killing them in one hit.
Very famous monster for ending no-Death streaks in SC and entire characters in HC.

These small but wicked undead are one of the main reasons to wield items like Stormshield, String of Ears, Shaftstop, etc - high dr% will save your life more than once. Make sure you keep your distance when these fetishes are exploding - especially if you are under Amplify Damage curse.

Just ran into a pack in the Icy Cellar... HC 96tz scared me, especially since I did not expect to see them there and took a second to register
On Hell difficulty, the Bone Fetish has 0% chill effectiveness, therefore being not affected by chill or freeze effects.
