The staff itself yields some pretty decent resistances but is weak overall. It does, however, retain a very fast attack speed modifier.

Guest- By using the weapon upgrade recipe, you can turn Hellforge Hammer, Staff of Kings, and Horadric Staff into Hand Axes, Hatchets, and Tomahawks.
- Quest weapons ( Horadric Staff, Khalim's Flail, Khalim's Will, Hellforge Hammer) can be used by any character and have no level requirements. They're great budget items for twinking low-level characters.
The Horadric Staff is actually a decent low level weapon as it deals quite a bit of damage for only requiring 30 Strength.
