Description

Junk Jewels
is a pseudo-item that represents any quantity or type of jewel in the game.

'Bundles' or 'packs' of
Junk Jewels
are sought after for their use in crafting cube recipes. They are widely available to beginner players/traders, and are used often in exchanges for low to mid-tier items on the marketplace. Collecting
Junk Jewels
of the same type in large quantities is a good way to increase your liquidity early on.

For crafting it doesn't matter if the jewel is magic, rare or unique. So if you have some trash rare or unique jewels you can as well give those away as
Junk Jewels
.

When trading or crafting with
Junk Jewels
, make sure to double-check them first just in case you have a rare and valuable one. High-level end-game players are looking for certain types of jewels, and so are lower-level PvP players. Coooley made a great video about this topic on YouTube called "The Most Expensive Jewels."

According to him, the most valuable jewel out there is the "30/60/9/9" rare jewel. It has +30% enhanced damage, +60 attack rating, +9 strength, and +9 dexterity. There are plenty of other jewels that have high value, though, both magic and rare.

It is worth keeping an eye out for the following affixes, as they can potentially make a Magic or Rare jewel not junk:

Magic only:
  • Ruby-: 31-40% Enhanced Damage
  • Scintillating-: 11-15% to All Resistances
  • -of Fervor: 15% Increased Attack Speed
Rare or Magic:
  • 21-30% Enhanced Damage
  • 6-9 Maximum Damage
  • 6-9 Minimum Damage
  • 5-10% to All Resistances
  • 16-30% to any one Resistance
  • 6-9 to Strength, Dexterity, or Energy
