Can be used to make Runewords:

Barbs are definitely forgetful.
Definitely Great Hauberk.
Reminds me of the joke: "This party sucks! As soon as I find my pants, I'll go home."

Wire Fleece definitely uglier.
Barb has no ab definition.
Great Hauberk "gives" you abs and look at those quads.

No way. I know the horns on his helmet get caught on those spikes and his legs are weirdly far apart. Great Hauberk is worse

Great Hauberk is my favorite Barb armor LOL
When I started playing D2R, I was playing my barb some dude gave me an Enigma and it was in a Haub, he said throw it on your barb it will help out a lot. I did, and I haven't removed it since haha. I love his stupid little kilt
EDITED because I wrote Wire Fleece at the top but meant hauberk lol
NO PANTS FTW

Wire Fleece is the best barb armor. But yeah the no pants vibe is a miss for me.

Definitely the hauberk. Topless is natural for a barb, pants-less is fishy.
I did no expect there would be a debate. But here we are, discussing the really important things in life!

Wiggly Locks and shirtless or pantless Barbs. Just first world "problems".
Sooo, my opinion: I like the Gladiator-style Wire Fleece more and it makes more sense to rather protect the knees but keep the upper body "unrestrained" than the other way round. The Great Hauberk looks ridiculous to me and I know of no historical equivalent. Either you go full heavy armor or full light armor or you at least protect your limbs but protecting the upper body heavily and completely forgetting about the lower body and the legs is not a good idea. Your body's centre of gravity would also be too high, the barb could easily lose balance and fall over in battle.
What's also ridiculous is the Mask. It's way too small for a real head to fit into it. And the horns/spikes on the shoulder plates, of course, but these seem to be mandatory in high-fantasy now...

Obviously, except for No Pants Thursdays, amiright? So.. best to have two Enigmas for the occasion.human_being wrote: 2 months agoDefinitely the hauberk. Topless is natural for a barb, pants-less is fishy.
