Being in Europe and therefore disadvantaged by ladder start times, I'm just curious to see how far people have progressed since 2am (5.5 hours ago).

It is not a bug, Non existent level is cow level, it is a joke to refer to it so. I think somewhere in the game it says there is no cow level or somehing like that.
To open cow level you to use Horadric Cube with Wirt's Leg (item dropped in Tristram by wirt cadaver) and a book of portal, you must be in act1rogue camp and it will ppen a portal.to cow level

Where's the "just finally got done sorting all of the sunder transition stuff on NL before even thinking about S3" option?
