Also the sto e runeword is excellent on a Fury druid for the golem charges. With a maxed
Oak Sage
the thing barely takes a scratch.
What do you use with the
Iron Golem
?
Pride or Beast?
(Have to do the calculations 🧮 but maybe Fortitude or Treachery will gave more DPS than Stone +
Iron Golem
🤔🤔 )
I usually get my
Fanaticism
aura from an act 1 merc using Faith on Fury druid. I don't really need it all that much though as getting max attack speed on
Werewolf
is usually easy.

OP
Correction (2024-08-23): Stone has
Clay Golem
charges, not
Iron Golem
😣

This seems more on the vibe of "funny/cool ideas" than on the vibe of "enhanced serious build" 🤔
Not a problem (my Javazon and Lightning Sorceress are on a similar vibe - more quality of life, less raw power), but I'm asking in this trade about the second case 😉.

That said, I forgot completely about Stone on my initial analysis... and, on paper, Stone +
Iron Golem
Beast/Pride may surpass in DPS Fortitude/Treachery (in non Enigma builds)
(On practice however not very recommended as others already said... item cost +
Iron Golem
fragility....)

Beast on a proper necro, with
Metalgrid
I pull a Bilbo Baggins and just use whatever I have in my pockets at the time. (Often Insight). I just treat it as any other disposable minion.

Iron Golem
is immune to poison and resists lightning 50% not spectacular, but worth taking into account. Also, pairs well with
Oak Sage
from Nature's gift. Thought that thing dies all too frequently.

Not sure why you'd add that into the IG idea mix but Stone is quite literally built to be full defensive. Other than the minimal benefit from 16 str on phys and potentially a very minor indirect boost via more FHR, it offers 0 dps gain whatsoever. There is no world in which it ever beats fort/Treachery for the purpose of DPS.

Or you simply misread Stone...the golem on that is clay, not iron.

OP
Totally misread Stone🤦🤦🤦

As someone talked about it on this thread at some point, I assumed It has
Iron Golem
charges...

Thanks for pointing that 👍👍
