Budget uber warlock after 3.2 🌟

And fortunately/unfortunately he's better in every way Bind Demon is not dead in 3.2!!! I'm glad i tried out my uber ama build but omg, i really think this is one of the best budget ladder starters both for farming and for endgame content (... not including ancients i'm still working on that)

I did strip down my build for the video for demo purposes, i think it's one of the cheapest reasonable uber builds u can make, with dual Spirit + Authority and a few skills from your Helm / amulet. In the video i did use Fal, Ko, Lum on my merc but he was dead for 99% of it anyways so. Malice instead of Obedience for open wounds is also definitely a better setup and that brings the cost down to just 1 Lum for Smoke, but as u can see merc is not needed

My demon does take a lot of damage from Lilith, but u could go for Stone skin instead of cursed with The Reaper's Toll on merc if you don't want to have to use Engorge I also just realized that she had might the entire time i was fighting her (+ Amplify Damage from the stupid birds)

I also showed my farming setup which i'm actually still using (with some upgrades, Hellfire Torch, Ondal's Wisdom, Ars Tor'Baalos etc) since i haven't made Enigma yet in s14. I really love act 1 Harmony merc ♥♥

Very nice video summary! Impressive that you got Ubers down with a very reasonable budget build.

I've seen it in action, he melts ubers easily, with really budget items, you have to check this out, especially if you're disappointed with your current Warlock build and can't afford items for different one. Waiting for video of another great build.

Is there a reason why you got Blunderbore from act 2 and not other act? lol I’m hoping the reason is that it is easier to find a demon with all 3 affixes (cursed, lightning enchanted, and aura) because I’m having a hard time finding one.

Level 20 Bind Demon automatically adds aura enchanted, so u don't need to worry about that

I chose them specifically for the innate cold immunity along with high base phys resist & hp. Lightning enchanted makes them immune to both cold and lightning, and with Resist Fire from Tainted or Flickering Flame he can be made cold, lightning, and fire immune all at the same time

It's also just really convenient to be able to search all those tombs in a single game rather than reload after one zone

Another very lazy option is rerolling ur game's random tz affix until it's cursed, sharding act 3, and then binding one of the regular white Blunderbore. No searching needed lol. With the innate lightning immune + the cursed affix that u get from tz he can still solo ubers just fine ^^

Ah gotcha. How long did it take you to find one cursed and lightning enchanted?

I assume binding a demon without lightning enchanted will not proc the Lightning Bolt when hit. So at most, a binded trash mob will have whatever TZ affix plus the aura, but not all 3. Is that correct?

Yes, he'd just get the affixes innate to Bind Demon + the one tz affix (5 affixes total) So no Charged Bolt to proc amp better, but it still works, i've used it many times to success ^^ even if he were to die, it's 1 shard and 5 minutes to find a new one

The one i found in tombs u see in the video took me 30-40 mins to find iirc, but i think i was pretty unlucky. I think i got cursed + cold enchanted like 5 times before i found one w cursed + lightning enchanted

Also wanted to share another merc option i quite like ^^

Act 1 cold merc
Witchwild String socketed with Shael+ Um, for open wounds proc & all res
Kira's Guardian, socketed with Ort
Guardian Angel, socketed with Ort

She survives shockingly well, i guess bc she's not going into melee range like a2 merc would. I've used this setup for my last 20 runs or so, & now upgraded to Mist and Duress ^^ Fav uber & farming merc so far for this build. With Inner Sight + Freezing Arrow she's like a Blessed Aim + Holy Freeze a2 merc combined

Each of the different Blunderbore types have different base resist stats:

So you can target farm good ones from an area with the resists you want to prioritize. For example, say you want a fire and lightning immune one. You can farm Act 2 Blunderbore in Palace (innate fire immune) with lightning enchanted + other affixes like Cursed, or you can go to Durance of Hate levels 1 and 2 to find Mauler (innate lightning immune) with Fire enchanted. Spectral hit, which comes with Bind Demo , will also add 20 to Cold/Fire/Lightning resists in that order so long as a third immunity is not created (can't have three immunities unless more than two are innate, e.g., megademons from Ubers).

I, for example, prefer physical + lightning immune, so I look for Stone Skin (physical immune) + cursed in Durance of Hate.

I find the Act 2 blunderbores much easier than Act 3 or 5. More of them, more uniques and far, far fewer dolls.
