Bonehew socket option for Act 2 merc

Recently found a

Bonehew and gave it to my merc. Any thoughts on the second socket? I am thinking a

Ber for CB or Lightning Facet (have a Dream

Helm) but am curious what would be the best option. He's a companion to my lvl 88 Fury Druid.

Yeah, I understand. I just want to run this one for awhile since it’s self-found. Looking for the most efficient thing to plug into the second socket, understanding an ethereal version would definitely be better.

Eth, its not worth using a

Ber on it… your best cheap option is Obedience runeword. Many times better than

Bonehew.. however its cool to see bonespear going off though…

If you want crushing blow and to play around a bit with the

Bonehew I'd suggest simply adding a

Shael and then swapping the

Helm for G-face.

Dream is fun, but not really that powerfull on a Merc since they have no synergies for it.

I would socket two

Amn runes for the leech, to improve survivability. At least until you found something better for your merc.

I am certainly enjoying the near-constant volley of Bone spears, lol

I found one too and i socketed it with 2

basically with that attack speed the bonespear proc was constant, but ye i switched back to the classic Insight Cure and

Prayer setup lately cause i found an

Eth tresher with 4 sockets.

Very nice weapon imho even if there are for sure better options like Breath of the Dying, Infinity etc btw i was thinking about using it on a

Spear amazon with

Impale and socket a

Zod if i ll ever found one.

I have an

Eth collecting dust. Unsure if I can make it useful on a merc without slotting an

Amn rune and divorcing myself from life steal elsewhere.
