Ancients lvl glitch

So get this. About a week ago i was rushing some people on normal difficulty. This was my second time doing so in the same hour. There was a person above lvl 20 and 2 other people below lvl 20. For some reason the the bug did not work on the people i was rushing. But heres what did happen. My lvl 92 gained an extra lvl. It did not go to my lvl count as i remained lvl 92. Im fairly certain this is a normal thing that happens when your playing the game through normally. For some reason my char received the bonus. Has this ever happened to anyone eles? Did i stumble on to somthing, or is this just a one time event?

You got Grushed or you created your char in classic then converted it to expansion in hell?
That is how people to get lvl 99 more quickly.

First stuff would be figuring it out well enough that you can replicate it
Afaik this is unheard of, especially the part where you got a level without getting a level

My assumption would be, do a classic rush, move character to expansion, level to 96 in CS and

Terror zones and then do the 3 Ancient quests?

Ancient normal dont give a lvl if you are lvl 96 and i dont think hell Ancients give a lvl as well at 96-99 i think it have a max Experience yu can get from it.

And you can get to hell at lvl 1 without doing Ancients in expansion too, just require someone to do

Baal quest while you are in town act5

Not sure if it is accurate, but looks like it gives you about a quarter of the 98 to 99 experience .
