Is Crushing blow applicable to physical skills/attacks only?

No data yet

Description

Apologies for the noob question.

I would like to ask if crushing blow only applies to physical attacks/skills? Was wondering if it also applies to spells from sorc/druid or even traps from assassins and maybe
Blessed Hammer
from Paladins.

thank you.

I'll try, and stand corrected if anyone knows better:
- physical damage (melee weapons) yes
-
Arrows
/
Bolts
yes
- spells with physical damage (e.g.
Twister
from druid, maybe also Paladin
Blessed Hammer
) yes
- elemental damage (added by weapons with e.g. Adding 20 cold damage) no
- elemental / magic damage from spells no
- damage done by minions (summons, resurrected monsters) no
- mercenary yes (same rules as above)
- assassin traps I don't know
- necro projectiles (
Teeth
,
Bone Spirit
etc) I dont know
- anything missing...?

Only attack skills.

The same is true for other on attack/on strike effects (like Like/mana steal, Open Wounds, Prevent Monster Heal)

Extra: Prevent Monster Heal only work with your own attacks (do not work with Merc or Minions)

And Minions and Merc don't have your on attack/on strike effects 😉
Only their own effects with trigger (for example if Merc is using a weapon with Crushing Blow, if you do an
Iron Golem
from a weapon with Crushing Blow or if you
Revive
a
Blunderbore
- that have natural Crushing Blow)

Revive
+
Blunderbore
= Yes

UPD1:

It is also worth remembering that missile weapons are twice as less effective.

OP
hmmm still confused..

It is clear that elemental magic skills from sorc and most of druid's skills are magic based.. But is
Blessed Hammer
from Paladin considered as a physical skill? Even if it does magic dmg?

No.
Blessed Hammer
is a "spell skill" not an "attack skill"

So from the unresolved ones:
- necro stuff (
Teeth
,
Bone Spirit
) probably no, since they are more spells than attacks?
- how about traps?
7
both are spells

blades are attacks skills, but some effects do not work (or do not work normally)

Blessed Hammer
and Bone spells are Magic Damage, not physical. Kind of 5th element. :)

As to assassin traps, CB does apply to
Blade Fury
specifically but only at a 10% IIRC.
