about to get my first infinity, some questions

for act2 merc with a fully decked out summoner necro

what's the best base?

Thresher, gt, mc or pa? I want to make sure I don't regret the base later on

what are best gears to go with Infinity for merc, I have

Treachery, andy, g-face and Fortitude

my current merc has g-face, Treachery and upped

Hone Sundan, with my necro, he's pretty ok, not Uber ok but gets in and out any places just fine (online p1), occasionally dies of heading right into a cursed mob or souls but that's it, I want him to have Infinity just for the sake of completionism and staying alive at all time even with ubers, any suggestion?

There have been many discussions/fights on the subject of the best base for Infinity over the years.

Does it matter in the end? Not really, the differences between bases are minimal. Vote with your wallet or personal preference.

You wont notice the difference, pick a base and forget about it.

Is Infinity even that good for a summoner? are you using skelly mages?

And in terms of damage and survivability, Fortitude is da bom. Way better than Treachery! Andy, fort and Infinity is a pretty standard build

Short answer: there is no best base.
Another short answer:

Giant Thresher or

Thresher are safe options if you plan to sell it later.

Long answer depend on your current/future gears.
Are you planning to get forti + IASed Andy's face for your merc?
Are you planning using Beast for your necro?

my question is why Infinity, in my opinion you could get Beast and Pride for the price of Infinity and that would be a better boost to your pets as summon necro. As stated above any

Infinity is good for CE on any necro. Maybe not the character that benefits the most, but certainly a valid option.
