Description

This trap emits projectiles laden with a potent chemical catalyst, detonating the exposed cadavers of slain enemies.

When fighting a group of monsters, always lay at least one of those besides your other traps. Corpse Explosion scales with monster health (but not with the number of players), and with its large area one or two shots are enough to clear an entire pack (not counting resistances).

Increased attack speed from items and Burst of Speed will greatly improve you trap laying speed.

If you lay down five traps, laying down another trap will replace the earliest trap. This includes traps from Shadow Warrior and Shadow Master.

Death Sentry will trigger Corpse Explosion if a target is within its line of sight and a corpse is within radius of that target. The corpse does not have to be within line of sight of either the sentry or the target, and its damage is always applied to targets within its radius, even if there is a wall or other obstacle between it and the target.

Blocking, Weapon Block, Dodge, Avoid and Evade cannot prevent damage being applied.

If you are playing in Resurrected mode, this ability's projectiles provide a small radius of light, illuminating the dark slightly. The Corpse Explosion, making a distinctive noise, may alert you to the presence of corpses in the dark.
