Description
Strange, but I've been here over an hour and none of this stuff is disappearing. Every other area I have cleared is empty, however. I don't know what could cause this. I have the souls easter egg active for MF, but otherwise just terrorized the whole game and been huntin'. Just curious if anyone knows why?

I think (but absolutely not sure about it!) that on SP items are basically cached in a stack and only only when the allocated Memory is full, old items are overwritten by new ones, resulting in overwritten items "disappearing".
But I never digged into this, so this basically guessing...

I played for 2-3 hours and those items never disappeared. Items in the areas I cleared all did disappear, so idk. My only thought is maybe coming back to town simply resets their timers on single player. This definitely wasn't the case before (as far as I know), but it's all I can think of. It's happening again right now btw, but I don't have the souls easter egg active. Act 2 town items just remaining on ground. Online, items are supposed to disappear after a certain amount of time, as we all know. But there are situations where you basically have "hotspots" where items persist permanently. I've seen it happen "out in the field", like in a random part of The Secret Cow Level. I'm not sure what triggers it.

Ok I went back to Act 2 after about 40 mins and now the stuff is gone. Seems like returning to town is refreshing the timers.
