Zealer/Smiter fanaticism aura stack?

Can anyone confirm if A1 merc w/ Faith equipped Fanaticism aura stacks with existing Fanaticism aura from my smiter/zealer? Feel like the answer should be yes but I'm still kind of a noob to paladins, just wondering

No, they don't stack.

The only situation where aura levels stack is if you have multiple items with the same aura equipped on the same character (your own char or your merc). A Paladin's native aura skill will never stack with an aura granted by an item. Two item auras will only stack if the items are equipped by the same character (again, you or your merc). They won't stack if you have 1 item and your merc has 1 item.

In non-stacking situations only the highest aura is applied (within its range). So if your Paladin has a level 20 Fanaticism, both you and your merc gets level 20 Fanaticism. If your Paladin's Fanaticism is level 10, both you and your merc gets the level that the Faith has (12-15). If either of you is out of range of the other's aura you get your own Fanaticism aura level.

Exactly, so the highest level Aura is the one that is applied to you personally. You may have 1x Faith Bow in your hands and also use Fanaticism as an Aura Skill - The highest one wins, and the other is ignored.

If you WEAR several pieces of gear with Auras on them then they combine if they are they same type. If they are different Auras then they obviously all apply and are at the level as listed on the item.

Only auras from equipment can stack. For example, Holy Shock in shield and Helm from Dream runeword stacks. Holy Fire from dual Dragon + Hand of Justice also stacks.

So what I'm hearing is I'm starting to think maybe sticking with Harmony for my Rogue merc is a better option. Feels like she's decently stacked right now, Shaftstop and Rockstopper with a good fairly high roll on resistances.

smiter/zealer, generally go with Act 2 Merc with The Reaper's Toll and Might
But if you want Act 1 Merc maybe with Mist ( Concentration)
