Description

Hi everybody! Just want to share this with you and see if anybody has had a similar issue.

I started a Ladder character on December 6th, this morning I logged in and the ladder flag wasn't there anymore. Then I made a game opened the stash and found all my NL stuff in the shared tabs.

What do you think it is?

Because a new season happened. You created a character at the end of the last season before the new season started. Then the new season happened and your character got moved to non-ladder.

I am take a break from D2. I am bumping trades to prevent expiration, but I am not trading, providing xbox/pc transfers, or price checks for the foreseeable future.

I am sure I started with the new season. I played ladder until yesterday and when I log in I do not see the red stash tabs that normally appear after a season ends.

New season started December 6 in some regions and December 7 on other if I'm remembering the announcement correctly 🤔🤔

About the red stash, I'm not a ladder player, but maybe the red stash do not appear if your non-ladder shared stash has enough free space 🤔🤔

For a while: not accepting
Ral
or
Hel
; and considering
Perfect Skull
as a regular
Perfect Gems
on my trades.

You might be right. Anyway, it was my very first ladder character and I had started it just for a fast build to farm Annis. I had not gotten too far though, I guess I'll just start a new one.

I'm inclined to agree with Knappo. You likely just started a wee bit too early, due to timezones/specific time of day on the 6th/7th and ended up still starting in last season, rather than the new one as you were expecting.

That said, adding to fredkid's response:
There is no "not enough free space" for stash moving.
When your shared stash moves from ladder to non-ladder, you always get a little checkbox for "past" which will then display the prior-season ladder stash tabs to clear out. Those are entirely independent of the non-ladder stash and hence don't require any extra room to be available there to show.
The only reason those don't show (outside of possible bugs) is when your ladder stash was empty at the point of season end (or was emptied thereafter). As soon as there's nothing in that last-season-stash anymore, the tabs and checkbox all just disappear.
