You can buy it without sockets for
Vex and try to get 5 sockets using the cube yourself:

Ral Rune + 1
Amn Rune + 1
Perfect Amethyst + Normal Weapon = Socketed Weapon of same type

If you get 5 sockets, the value increases to a lot of
Ist's.
