Squelching

Have any of you had the need to use this feature? How does it work? I enjoy this platform very much because it should promote fair deals with current/historical prices available to anyone...but unfortunately there are some incredibly bad apples who are ruining that. Will a squelch help me never have to see or hear or deal with these types of people? Im not interested in paying 100x more than what current prices are and im not interested in taking 1/100th of what current price is on my trades, its 1 thing to deal with that in game, but we are all here in this community for mostly the same reasons right?

Just to elaborate on Tetra's answer here - squelching someone does the following things:

• Squelching someone makes all their offers in your trade listings invisible to everyone except themselves.
• It also makes their trade listings invisible to you when browsing or searching the marketplace.
• The person you squelch will not know they have been squelched, because they still see their own offers in your trade listings. The tool is used to deal with annoying people commenting in your listings, and junk sellers in the market searches.
• Note that this does not affect other forums or areas on the site - only the trading marketplace. A trader you have squelched is still able to send you private messages/interact with you. A squelched offer on your trade will still reset the listing's expiry timer and bump it like any normal offer would.
