Attacks all adjacent targets.
Rapidly strikes several close targets.
This skill is rarely used due to the NHAM (Next Hit Always Misses) bug coupled with the slow attack speed of spears. If the attack animation of Fend is interrupted, all subsequent attacks will miss while the character is still locked in the animation. This can be triggered by block, Dodge, Evade, Avoid, and hit recovery.

Lore
Once an Amazon warrior has attained mastery over the spear, she can engage and destroy multiple enemies in close quarter battle. Many of those enemies will be lucky to be alive after the vicious onslaughts of these attacks have ended.
Grand Mistress Celestia was able to demonstrate this ability to the Initiates of Athulua by striking down a dozen experienced warriors in the space of an arrow's flight.
Can be used to make Runewords:
In Diablo 2: Resurrection, Blizzard updated Dodge/ Evade/Avoid/Hit Recovery to be more in sync with Fend's attack animation. This means that you shouldn't get that disconnect after an animation occur and your Fend starts missing. Did this change suddenly make Fend a God-Tier skill? Nope - but it did make it more viable. With exceptionally good gear (especially high-defense coupled with toggling run/walk before enemies attack you), you should be able to get a Fendazon through Hell. Just don't expect it to be a cake-walk.
Patch 2.4
