My characters from D2LOD do not appear for offline play. Where does the saved game folder reside in order to do this?

Just copy your old D2LoD-Files there and they should show up. Works fine for me.

Thanks. Exactly what I needed.
Transferred some of my old chars from 1.13 to D2R offline. Simply copyin the saves does the trick - no shaman dances needed 
And what I love about offline - is: 1) NO lags (the game is perfectly smooth), and 2) /players 8, ofc
