reroll strategy for small simmering charms

You cannot get the shimmering prefix on iLvl 33 small charms. iLvl 47 MINIMUM.

All small charm can be use.

I get d2planner, it says ilevel 33.

The thing is if you get small charm in hell, all can be use.

Even if you re-roll small charm in other place , it still ok. because there is sta, 5% single resistance that is have value today.(like 5-10 piece = Ist)

But reroll aim ilevel 33 is always better.

That is affix level 33, not ilvl. Sure, you can use any small charm you find in hell, but your odds of rolling what you want are significantly worse, which means you will end up spending considerably more in perfect gem rerolls to get the same result. Does that sound efficient or cost effective to you? It's your gems, do what you want with them.

But how about 175 poison thing?

In my case, basically, I need all kinds. I havent complete all char small charm with 2 useful affix yet.

I understand veteran means life +20 = 47 ilevel. that part is yes. he is right.

Thanks for the clarification, I am farming Nightmare Palace for them then

NM Tal Rasha's Tomb's have higher mob density and the small charms that drop there are iLvl 49. According to the affix calculator, the odd's of rolling the shimmering prefix should be the same. So, for the sake of farming efficiency, you can try the tomb's as well.

it turns out, 451 poison only 5 Jah and it have low chance 1/33880 to roll...


Here is another problem, when I look into d2planner, it told me 5/20 require at least ilevel 61 to get it...

Pestilent Small Charm, which is 175 Poison Damage Over 6 Seconds, requires iLvl 94. Hell Diablo and Hell Terror Zones at sufficiently high character/monster level.

Which is why most players avoid re-rolling sc's, the ROI is not worth it. You're much better off buying a 5/20 from traderie for 15 jahs as opposed to trying to roll one yourself in the cube, as an example. I'd estimate the majority of 5/20 and 32020's that exist were found by bots.

• Crystalline Passage & Frozen River (iLVL 61): Take the Crystalline Passage Waypoint. Normal monsters here drop exactly iLVL 61 charms.
• Glacial Trail (iLVL 62): Right next to a WP, easy to clear quickly.

it seems only a5 suitable for 5/20...

and yes I was re-rolling highest lv small charm from nilahank...

I am thinking about just buying them and re-roll only lv 61 (1/2046)

it is 6000 Perfect Gems to get 5/20 mode...around 150 Ist...right 10 Jah...and it is not even 5/20 , it can be 5/15
