I have nigma on my poi mancer. Get some opelvein and hellwarden will and then i think i use the Darkforce Spawn for the rest of the FCR and gheeds wager. I like the transportation ability to go anywhere and yep Poison Nova and LR curse and everything dies. Boss kill not so good but it is fun to see everything else melt.
boss kill is crazy slow.
I tried Fleshripper with Poison Dagger skill against Baal with Lower Resist: slow.
Use Blackbog and running away to make poison uninterrupted: faster
Even teleporting to Harrogath to Revive skeletons from Nihlathak temple then to go back and kill Baal is faster than above 2 options.
here are some Baal kill times on the Plague Javelin i documented a couple of months ago. necro should be similar to ~30s if he has effective ~10k dps after -res. still clueless how the zon's poison sometimes melts Baal in 14s, meaning >25k effective dps
after eight more excruciatingly boring Baal tests (tz 93, 128k dmg over 12s, -40 poison res, tz either extra strong or fire ench or exra fast or cursed)
without lvl 3 Venom 30s / 20s / 29s / 24s mean 25.8s
with lvl 3 Venom 14s / 26s / 25s / 33s mean 24.5s
Conclusion: Venom has very small positive effect
Clueless why kill time varies so greatly..
This is why I am using a lightning Ironwolf. He cuts life of all bosses by half in seconds. And he does profit from my Lower Resist curse more than any other merc. I geared him with Plague, Griffon's Eye, Ormus' Robes and etherealSpirit. This guy is really helpful when fighting huge groups of poison immunes and he rarely dies. On top of this, the Cleansing aura removes poison and curses in shortest time to retain mobility and safety of my team. My maxed out Blood Golem makes a formidable tank and grants additional healing to my Necro.
For low items I also accept: Perfect Amys, Ral, Hel, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than Pul (with the named exceptions).
